***IMPORTANT*** Information for NEW Volunteers Regarding Your Volunteer Commitment:

On Monday, August 12, 2019, as a security measure, new volunteers (those who did NOT volunteer in 2018 according to our database) will be asked to provide a bank card number in their VolunteerLocal profile along with a $35 hold to secure your shift.

If using a CREDIT CARD, it will have a $35 pre-authorization hold for 7 days from the time it is entered into our system. Use of a DEBIT CARD will deduct $35 immediately. You will not lose the $35 unless you receive your tickets and do not show up at your shift or if you abandon your shift during the event.

If you complete your volunteer commitment:
-CREDIT CARD pre-authorization will be removed after 7 days from date of data entry and you will NOT be charged.
-DEBIT CARD $35 will be fully refunded after 7 days from date of data entry.

If you volunteered in 2018, you can disregard this notice; this is for new volunteers only.

The organizers of Maha Festival and VolunteerLocal will not have access to your bank card data. Please email us at volunteer@mahafestival.com with questions. Thank you for your cooperation.
